θεωρία

Theōría is Greek for contemplation. To the early Fathers it meant seeing God in creation, in nature and in Scripture.

Six pillars

Six courses, each taught on its own terms. Each runs in weeks of seven lessons: five teaching days of about fifteen minutes, a guided reading of one old source, and a review.

  • Seeing God in Creation

Symbolism in nature, sacred geometry, and the living world read as an expression of divine order.

  • The Human Mystery

Physiognomy in its full historical depth: reading face and form as a revelation of character and inner nature.

  • Myth, Psyche & Alchemy

Myth, the symbolic heavens, and alchemy read as maps of psychological and spiritual transformation.

  • Mind, Matter & Metaphysics

Consciousness and physical reality: quantum mechanics, Orch-OR, the CTMU, and the fractal patterns of awareness.

  • Jungian Psychology

The structure of the psyche from Jung's work, how the soul falls out of balance, and what shapes the world's thought.

  • Sacred Texts & History

Scripture, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the keepers of the Word: ancient understandings of God, creation, and the human place.

William Blake’s The Ancient of Days: an old figure leaning out of a sun, measuring the dark below with a pair of compasses.
